It is such a crazy and surreal time we are in right now. Spring of 2020 brought with it all the rejuvenated beauty of nature and an unexpected shocker! Everyone is trying to make sense of how to best adjust to the situation that COVID has created.

I, just like most parents, am facing the challenge of trying to keep my now 'home-schooled' kids engaged. We have been working with some good ol' jumping jacks, planks, mountain climbers, squats, lunges to break a sweat. We also include some down dog - up dog flows for flexibility and strength.
Here are a few fun physical exercises and yogasanas that we practice. It really helps to get all our pent up energy levels in check. You can also join in the workout making it a productive way to spend some quality time together.
After the physical aspect is done I always like to include some pranayam and a quiet lie down. I find that kids respond better to gentler activities when they are done following some rigorous one. So, go ahead and try it out at home yourself!
